Steffes Instrument Air Skid: Reliable. Efficient. Built to Perform.
Steffes is proud to introduce the Instrument Air Skid, designed to enable operators to safely and reliably control well site instruments and eliminate the risk of methane leaking into the atmosphere from using produced gas.
Engineered with operators in mind, the Instrument Air Skid is built to perform in the harshest environments. Its enclosed, climate-controlled design protects critical equipment from extreme elements, such as dust, hail, and freezing temperatures. To meet the needs of different regions, we offer two tailored models, the Southern Unit and the Northern Unit.
Southern Unit
- Uninsulated house & frame; provides protective barrier from dust & debris
- Includes vapor/radiant barrier to decrease the inside temperature of the skid
Northern Unit
- Insulated house & frame
- 15 kW heater with thermostat
- Tested & proven in winter conditions as low as -40°F
- Recirculating fan ensures no freeze-up issues along the floor
To further support consistent operation, Steffes offers an optional bolt-on dry receiver—a large-volume storage vessel designed to expand capacity and control on-site. Multiple tanks can be connected to meet higher air volume needs.

All of this comes at a significantly lower cost than full-site electrification, giving you peace of mind and efficient performance in any environment.
