Steffes PRB Helps Reduce Thief Hatch Emissions

As regulators continue to closely monitor emissions and vented gas on oil sites, Steffes has developed an innovative solution to reduce fugitive emissions from being released off the thief hatch.

The Steffes Pressure Regulating Blower helps reduce the risk of methane leaking into the atmosphere by controlling the tank pressure. A PRB can be used with a flare or combustor to improve efficiency and gas capacity. Pairing a PRB with a flare, combustor, or VRU may also help to hide flames and further reduce emissions.

The PRB is a great solution for both new sites and retrofitting older sites. Our signature plug-and-play design can be programmed to fit your unique needs and the equipment can be moved from site-to-site as needed.
